Health Tech Kaltungo admission form for 2024/2025
Gombe State College of Health Sciences and Technology Kaltungo (popularly known as School of Health Technology, kaltungo) was first established in Bauchi State in the year 1977 at the temporary site of the School of midwifery premises but was affiliated with the School of Nursing Bauchi in former Bauchi State. The College initially started with the training of nursing aid, but later Nursing Aide was faced out and community Health Aide was started.
The courses offered then were as follows
- Community Health Assistant
- Community Health Aide
- Medical Laboratory Assistant

Available Courses and Entry Requirements
- Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)
Requirements: Five credits in WAEC/NECO, including English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)
Requirements: Three credits in WAEC/NECO, including English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Requirements: Five credits in WAEC/NECO, including English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
