How to Check Your Status on the Covenant University Admission Portal
If you want to check through the university’s portal, follow the simple steps below:-
- Visit the university’s admission portal at https://covenantuniversity.edu.ng/
- Log in using your credentials.
- Click on “Check admission status”
How to Check Admission Status on the JAMB Portal
You can also visit the JAMB CAPS and check the Covenant University Admission List if you prefer:-
- Visit the JAMB e-facility website at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Log in with your JAMB profile username and password.
- Scroll down and click on the “Check Admission Status” tab.
- Click on “Admission Status” or choose “Access my CAPS.”
- For mobile users, tap the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of your browser and enable “Desktop site” for better access.
- Click on “Admission Status” to view your result.
If your admission status reads “Congratulations” it means you have been offered admission. You should proceed to accept or decline the offer on the JAMB CAPS portal. For those with a status of “Admission in Progress,” this indicates that your application is still under review, so it’s important to remain patient and check back regularly for updates. If your status shows “Not Admitted” don’t give up hope, there is still a chance of securing admission through Covenant University’s supplementary admission lists.
Covenant University Acceptance Fee 2024/2025
All candidates who have seen their names on the Covenant University Merit Admission List must pay the acceptance fee. The CU Acceptance Fee is Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) and can be paid using the procedure below:-
- Visit the official Covenant University admission portal: http://portal.covenantuniversity.edu.ng/Admission/.
- Print out your notification slip for future reference.
- All payments should be made through Covenant University’s official platform. Avoid using third-party channels like E-transact.
- While registering, use your JAMB Registration Number as both your username and password.
- Covenant University requires a 100% upfront payment of the acceptance fee; installment payments are not allowed.
- Visit any of the authorized banks to pay your fees.
- Request a teller from the bank cashier, specifying that you wish to pay Covenant University’s acceptance fee.
- After payment, ensure you receive a PIN and receipt number, as these are essential for processing your payment on the university portal.
- Log in to the school fees portal with your username and password (JAMB Registration Number).
- Click on “PAY FEES,” enter the required amount, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your payment.
