What Nigerian students need to know about UNILAG Direct entry screening?

In 2024, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Direct Entry Screening for the 2024/2025 academic session is now open, and the registration has commenced.

According to the university, the majority of students in different part of the country have joined UNILAG through direct entry this year.

However, some students did not yet complete their registration, school management said this is another opportunity for them to complete their screening and registration, as admission requirements screening of students is required therefore it is advised that all students complete their registration.

UNILAG DIRECT ENTRY REGISTRATION PORTAL

TO complete registration online with UNILAG unilag registration portal is still active, and all candidates who need to apply and study their desire courses to register and start studying. Click on 2024/2025 Direct Entry (DE) Application.
Log in using your Direct Entry Application number as the username and your surname (in lowercase) as the password.
Generate and print the payment advice for the ₦2,000 screening fee.
Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment or pay online.
Return to the UNILAG portal to complete the screening form.
Upload all relevant results (First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, Cambridge A’ Level, etc.).
Review and verify your details before submitting the form.
Print the Direct Entry e-registration slip.
Submit the printed e-registration slip and your credentials to the Admission Office, Room 174, Senate House, UNILAG, from Monday, October 7 to Friday, November 8, 2024.

Requirements Eligible for the UNILAG Direct Entry Screening

To be eligible for the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Direct Entry Screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:

You must have chosen UNILAG as your first choice in the 2024/2025 Direct Entry (DE) JAMB application.
You must have obtained five credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
You must be at least 16 years of age by 31st October 2024.
If you will not be 16 years old by 31st October 2024, you are not eligible to apply.
Ensure that all your personal details (such as name, date of birth, state of origin, etc.) are consistent across all your documents.
If you do not participate in the online registration, you will not be considered for admission.
Former students whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor academic performance may re-apply, but only for a different course.
Expelled students are not eligible to re-apply for admission.
