Niger Delta University Admission Requirements 2024/2025

If you have found the particular course you want to apply for at Niger Delta University either through Direct Entry or UTME, these are the criteria you are expected to meet to be eligible for admission:-

UTME Requirements

For candidates seeking admission into Niger Delta University (NDU) through JAMB (UTME), the following requirements must be met:-

Candidates must have at least 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level, achieved in a maximum of two sittings.
Ensure that you select the correct JAMB subject combination as outlined in the JAMB Brochure for your chosen course.
A minimum score of 180 in the recent JAMB UTME examination is required for consideration for admission into NDU.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Direct Entry (DE)

Similar to UTME candidates, Direct Entry applicants must possess at least 5 credits in the SSCE/GCE Ordinary Level examinations, also achievable in a maximum of two sittings.
Candidates must have obtained ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects related to their desired field of study. Other acceptable qualifications include JUPEB/A Level passes or a degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in a relevant discipline.
A minimum of Merit Pass in National Diploma (ND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), and other advanced level certificates is required.
Direct Entry candidates must apply through both the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the NDU Portal.
