The management of the University have announced the release of the institution departmental cut-off marks and all aspirants are advised to check so as to know their status.
UNIPORT Cut Off Mark 2024/2025 Academic Session
The management of University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has announced the general acceptable JAMB Cut Off Mark that will qualify each aspiring student to apply for admission into their preferred department for the 2024/2025 academic session to be 160.
This is to published it that UNIPORT does not in any way accept JAMB score that is below 160 except it is up to the minimum acceptable mark, which is 160, with no maximum.

The above Cut-Off marks are from Jamb and are for the application. There is also the Post UTME Cut-Off mark where each department can decide to have a unique cut off mark which might be determined by the performance of the applicants of that course.
Additional Information
- If your JAMB score is below 160, you are ineligible for UNIPORT Post UTME screening, you can try again next year to simply switch to an institution with a lower cut-off mark.
- Meeting JAMB and UNIPORT cut-off marks is necessary, but meeting additional requirements(such as age, at least 5 credits in your SSCE results) is also essential for admission consideration.
- Course like Law, Medicine, and Nursing, are considered highly competitive thus, requires you have higher marks to increase your chances.
